The 22nd Annual Bob Hope Memorial Charity Golf Classic will return to Fort Walton Beach Golf Club next month to raise funds for housing assistance for military families.

The two-day tournament, scheduled for May 16-17, serves as a major fundraiser for the Air Force Enlisted Village, a nonprofit organization providing homes for surviving spouses of retired enlisted Air Force members.

  • Matrix is presenting the event, which uses a four-person captain’s choice format. Play begins at noon on Friday, May 16, at The Oaks course, with a second round starting at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at the same course.

The tournament will conclude Saturday with a silent auction, awards ceremony and barbeque lunch.

Organizers said prizes will be awarded to winning teams in three flights, along with skill contests throughout the tournament. Step One Automotive Group is sponsoring a hole-in-one prize opportunity.

  • A limited number of silver and bronze corporate sponsorships remain available. These packages include prominent placement of company names or logos on banners at the clubhouse, on the tournament website, on tee box signs and in social and email marketing materials.

Silver sponsorships include four golf registrations, while bronze packages come with two registrations.

Individual golf spots are also still available. The registration fee covers two days of golf with green fees, cart, range tokens, a commemorative challenge coin with ball marker, swag bag, golf shirt, refreshments, Saturday breakfast and lunch on both days.

  • All participants and sponsors will receive invitations to a kickoff party on May 15 at Bob Hope Village, featuring complimentary food and beverages and a live auction.

Tee box signs are also available for purchase, according to organizers.

The tournament takes place at Fort Walton Beach Golf Club located at 1955 Lewis Turner Boulevard. For more information or to register, visit here or call 850-651-3766 ext 119.
