The 37th Annual Thunderbird Intertribal Powwow will be November 7 – 9, 2025 at the Niceville, Florida Twin Oaks Park. The event is open to the general public and attracts approximately 5,000 spectators. Southeastern Native American dancers, singers, and drummers take part in the event. Native American Indian vendors feature items of authentic craftsmanship.
Children’s Day is the first day of the powwow and is attended by local schools from Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties. The children experience Native American dancing, drumming, storytelling and cultural exhibits. Eglin Cultural Resources Office and the City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center often have exhibits and demonstrations.
