Each year, FABA Far West holds an annual Forging Competition at Timber Creek Distillery (6451 Lake Ella Rd, Crestview, FL 32539). This year the competition will be held on Veterans Day and although the competition project is currently undisclosed you can bet it will be something to honor Veterans. We will set up equipment starting at 9am and expect to start the competition by 10. Competitors will have 5 hours to hammer out their entry, with hammers down at 3pm. The owners of Timber Creek will decide the winners and a short celebration will follow. Help putting the equipment back in the trailer is appreciated.

Florida Artist Blacksmith Association (FABA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the noble craft of blacksmithing.

FABA holds monthly workshops at various locations in the panhandle of Florida.
