Forge welding in an open fire is both an art and a science. In this 4-hour class you will learn how to scarf, bend and weld three links of chain; a skill that can be applied to numerous other projects.

For any blacksmithing class please wear cotton or natural fabric clothing, long trousers and solid shoes or boots are required, long sleeve cotton (not flannel) shirt highly recommended. We supply your steel, coal, tools, working materials, gloves, eye and ear protection, plus dust masks when necessary but if you have a leather apron you might want to bring it (or buy one of ours for $50). Ages 12 and up, please.
