Join us for the 45thd Annual McGuire’s St. Patrick’s Day Prediction 5K Run on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 9 am.
RUN or WALK! Everyone is Welcome! 5K CERTIFIED COURSE (3.1 miles) Starts and finishes at McGuire’s Irish Pub in Downtown Pensacola. You must be able to run or walk 3.1 miles in under one hour. The course will open to traffic at 10 a.m. Stragglers will be picked up by McGuire’s bus.
Your Registration fee includes your Race T-Shirt, Race Number as well as a Pre-Race Breakfast including donuts, bagels, fruit, juice and coffee and Pensacola’a BEST Post Race Party featuring Rich McDuff’s Irish-Sing-A-Long. Post Race Party Refreshments include Irish Fare, Irish Wakes, Bud Light, McGuire’s Red Ale & Soft Drinks. #mcguires5k
5k Certified Course (3.1 miles)

Friday, March 11th from 10am to 8pm and Saturday, March 12th from 6:30 to 8am. At packet pickup you receive your ‘disposable’ timing bib and your 2022 McGuire’s 5k run shirt!
Rules for a prediction run
Each runner/walker predicts how long it will take them to complete the 3.1 mile course. The finishers who come closest to the time predicted on the registration form wins. The use of watches or timing devices will be considered an unfair advantage and the participant will be disqualified. The computer time will be the official time. To be eligible you must enter a predicted time on your application.
Prediction Awards
To the first 5 males & females in each age group who finish closest to their actual predicted times. Age groups are: Male & Female ages 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+

Speed Awards
Even though the McGuire’s St. Patrick’s Day Run is THE NATIONS’S LARGEST PREDICTION RUN, we also award speed awards. Open (39 & under): First 10 males & first 10 females; Masters (40 to 49): First 5 males & first 5 females; Grandmasters (50 to 59): First 5 males and first 5 females; Great grandmasters (60+): First 5 males & first 5 females
Team Speed Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 teams in each division. Male, Female, and Military (active duty, reserve or ROTC). A team is at least 5, but no more than 7 runners. The first five finishers will score for the team. Teams must submit their registrations together and with team name and category on the application. No team registration or changes will be accepted on race day.
Finish Line, Scoring & Results
Please stay in order as you order the finish line chutes. We cannot begin scoring the prediction run until all participants have crossed the finish line! Results will be posted at mcguiresirishpub.com and event-tech.com. To comply with insurance guidelines NO STROLLERS, SKATES OR BICYCLES ALLOWED ON THE COURSE.

Party wristbands
Bring your I.D. and get your “Party Wristband” on Friday at packet pickup or Saturday morning before the race. Show your wristband and save time in the party lines after the run. (Those without wristband will need to show proper I.D. in order to get an alcoholic beverage).
Post Race St. Patrick’s Day Party & Irish Fare
A pre-race breakfast including bagels by Bagelheads, juice, fruit, donuts & coffee.
Pensacola’s BEST post race party featuring Rich McDuff’s Irish-sing-along, coffee, Irish fare, Irish wakes, BudLight, McGuire’s Red & soft drinks. Refreshments at the post Race party are for registered runners ONLY; you must display your race number to be served.
Party ends promptly at noon
You must be 21 or older and have a “part wristband” or present proper ID to consume alcoholic beverages. We require proper ID – No exceptions! No coolers – No outside alcohol
