Al’s Beach Club & Burger Bar at The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island is hosting a free Movie on the Beach night on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 8 p.m. The event will feature a screening of the fantasy musical film “Wonka” in celebration of National Candy Month.

Attendees are invited to gather on the sand with friends and family to enjoy the film on a giant inflatable screen. The restaurant encourages moviegoers to bring blankets and beach chairs for a cozy viewing experience under the stars.

  • Al’s Beach Club & Burger Bar will also be offering delicious milkshakes for purchase during the event.

“Wonka” is a prequel to the 1971 film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s novel, focusing on the rise of the famous and eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka. The narrative follows Wonka’s journey from a young adult working as a chocolate seller in a store to his eventual success in the chocolate industry.
