Hurlburt Field officials have announced a planned roadblock on the base for May 16, 2024, which is expected to cause traffic delays near the main gate on Highway 98.

According to a press release from Hurlburt Field Public Affairs, the roadblock will be in place from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., impacting movement between the east and west sides of the base.

Commuters are advised to prepare for longer than normal traffic delays during this time.
