Destin High School plans announced, Non-stop flights to Chicago, Rabies in Walton County

To: Daily Rundown Readers

Destin might just get a high school after all thanks to a group of locals who took matters into their own hands and have a plan for a Destin High School. MyPanhandle.com broke the news, and in an interview with Prebble Ramswell, who is on the Destin High School Committee, she said, “We are going do a charter school. Our goal all a long has been a public school that would be open to anyone in Destin.”

It will take some serious financial investment from the community to make this a reality, so the Destin High School Committee has formed a 5013c and are soliciting private donations from the community. Should it all work out, students will be able to enroll at Destin High School for the 2020 school year. To read more on the school plans, click here.
