Niceville announces return of annual Veterans Day parade with Grand Marshal search

The City of Niceville will bring back its annual Veterans Day parade featuring community groups and a search for a Grand Marshal to honor local veterans.

The City of Niceville announced the return of its annual Veterans Day Parade, scheduled for Saturday, November 15, at 10 a.m.

  • Registration is now open for participants, community groups and organizations who would like to take part in this event honoring the nation’s veterans. Registration can be completed online here.

The city is also conducting a Grand Marshal search to lead the parade. Community members are encouraged to nominate veterans who exemplify patriotism, service and dedication.

Nominations should include the veteran’s name, photo and a brief write-up and be submitted to pio@nicevillefl.gov.
