Okaloosa School District announces early dismissal schedule for last day of school

Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) has released the early dismissal schedule for Thursday, May 29, which marks the last day of school for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) has released the early dismissal schedule for Thursday, May 29, which marks the last day of school for the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Students across all schools in the district will be released early according to a staggered schedule organized by area.

Dismissal Times by Area:

Crestview Area:

  • Antioch: 2:30 p.m.
  • Baker: 1:10 p.m.
  • Bob Sikes: 12:55 p.m.
  • Crestview HS: 11:30 a.m.
  • Davidson: 11:20 a.m.
  • Best Chance: *Dismissal times will be coordinated with transportation
  • Laurel Hill: 1:15 p.m.
  • Northwood: 2:10 p.m.
  • Richbourg: 12:45 p.m.
  • Riverside: 2:30 p.m.
  • Shoal River: 1:50 p.m.
  • Southside Primary: 11:00 a.m.
  • Walker: 2:30 p.m.

Destin Area:

  • Destin Elementary: 1:55 p.m.
  • Destin Middle School: 2:40 p.m.

Fort Walton Beach Area:

  • Bruner: 1:20 p.m.
  • Choctawhatchee: 11:40 a.m.
  • Edwins: 1:55 p.m.
  • Elliott Point: 1:30 p.m.
  • Florosa: 2:30 p.m.
  • Fort Walton Beach: 11:30 a.m.
  • Kenwood: 2:20 p.m.
  • Liza Jackson Preparatory School: 11:15 a.m.
  • Longwood: 2:40 p.m.
  • Mary Esther: 2:00 p.m.
  • Meigs: 12:55 p.m.
  • NWF Ballet Academie: 12:00 p.m.
  • Okaloosa Technical College: *Dismissal times will be coordinated with transportation
  • Pryor: 1:30 p.m.
  • Shalimar: 1:20 p.m.
  • Silver Sands: 1:15 p.m.
  • Wright: 2:05 p.m.

Niceville/Valparaiso Area:

  • Bluewater: 2:35 p.m.
  • Eglin: 1:55 p.m.
  • Edge: 2:00 p.m.
  • Lewis: 1:10 p.m.
  • Niceville: 11:30 a.m.
  • Plew: 2:00 p.m.
  • Ruckel: 1:20 p.m.
  • STEMM: 12:55 p.m.

Charter Schools:

  • Destin High School: Friday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m.

Parents and guardians are advised to make appropriate arrangements for their children’s early return home. For schools marked with an asterisk, dismissal times will be coordinated with transportation services.
