The Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections has received numerous calls from voters who have received a text message encouraging them to “vote early” by requesting a mail ballot.

While the message does not have erroneous information, the Supervisor of Elections Office would like to remind voters of approaching important dates and deadlines for the November 3 General Election.

Registration Deadline: The registration deadline for the November 3rd General Election is October 5, 2020.

Vote-by-mail: Military Vote-by-mail ballots have begun mailing. Non-military ballots cannot begin mailing until September 24. Deadline to request a mail ballot is October 24. All ballots must be received by 7pm on election day.

Early Voting: Will be held on October 19 – October 31. 7am-7pm all days. There will be 5 locations.

  • Crestview Community Center – 1445 Commerce Dr, Crestview
  • Crestview Elections Headquarters – 302 N Wilson St, Crestview
  • Destin Community Center – 101 Stahlman Ave, Destin
  • Niceville Community Center – 204 N Partin Dr, Niceville
  • Okaloosa Co. Admin Building – 1250 Eglin Pkwy, Shalimar

We will not just be voting for POTUS, there are still some local elections for residents within the City of Destin as well as a County Commissioner’s race.
