The long awaited demolition of the Venture Hive building at The Landing has is finally underway. On Monday, September 23, the building that was once a field-trip destination for so many kids was leveled and officially kicked-off the transformation that will get the community a new Landing Park.

Talking with Get The Coast, City Manager Michael Beedie said,

“The Landing renovation has been a long time coming and I hope the community is as excited as I am about the bright future of this park. We are looking forward to this transformation the city’s most visited park will see over the next 12-18 months. It is going to be something truly spectacular and hopefully be the catalyst for more revitalization in downtown.”
