Cox Communications is inviting Gulf Coast nonprofit organizations to apply for sponsorships to support events and initiatives scheduled for the second half of 2025.

  • The telecommunications company announced Tuesday that applications are now open for both cash and in-kind sponsorships for activities taking place between July 1 and December 31, 2025.

Interested nonprofits have until Friday, May 23, 2025, to submit their applications through Cox’s Charitable Giving Site. Organizations will receive notification about their applications by mid-June, according to company officials.

“At Cox, we understand the importance of giving back to the communities we serve,” the company stated on its Charitable Giving Portal. “Philanthropy isn’t a buzzword — it’s a mission and an opportunity to use our time, talent, and technology to strengthen communities and businesses.”

The company contributes millions of dollars annually in cash and in-kind support to organizations across its service areas. These contributions aim to help “strengthen current and future generations” in the communities where Cox operates.

  • This sponsorship opportunity comes as many local nonprofits are planning their major fundraising events for the second half of the year, typically a busy season for charity galas, awareness campaigns, and community initiatives along the Gulf Coast.

The Gulf Coast region, including Okaloosa County, is home to hundreds of nonprofit organizations addressing needs ranging from environmental conservation and veterans’ services to youth development and healthcare access.

Cox Communications has maintained a presence in the Pensacola and broader Gulf Coast region for many years, providing cable television, internet, telephone, and home security services to residents throughout Northwest Florida.

Nonprofit organizations interested in applying can visit Cox’s Charitable Giving Portal here for complete information and application instructions.

Cox encourages all eligible nonprofit organizations operating in its market areas to apply for consideration.
