Beginning Monday, April 12th, Destin Water Users, Inc. will install a reclaimed water main across Industrial Park Lane and Airport Road in Destin that will also impact other roadways in the area.

Motorists can expect a road closure at Industrial Park Lane and Airport Road during the construction and installation of the pipe.

➡️ Local traffic will need to use Industrial Park Road the week of April 12 in order to gain access to Industrial Park Lane from Airport Road.

Beginning Monday, April 19th, DWU’s Contractor will then begin installing pipe from the South side of Airport Road to the north side. Motorists can expect traffic shifts and detours along Airport Road during this construction time. During these lane shifts and closures, DWU recommends that only local traffic use Airport Road between Commons Drive and Main Street.

Anyone with questions can contact Destin Water Users, Inc. at (850) 837-6146.
