Celebrate Jazz Appreciation month – A Deep Dive into Jazz with the Friends Guild of the Destin Library on Tuesday, April 9th, (12 noon) at the Destin Library (150 Sibert Avenue, Destin, FL) for an extraordinary afternoon of jazz with Destin’s “Music Diva,” Dr. Cheryl Jones.
Bring a lawn chair and a sack lunch and relax in the shade of our live oaks while Dr. Jones works her magic.
Dr. Cheryl Jones is a multi-talented, multi-tasking artist of the Emerald Coast. A renowned musician, adjunct professor, composer, arranger, and recording artist, she has appeared throughout North Florida as the leader and music director of the popular Jones and Company, a mainstay in the region for the past 25 years.
Dr. Jones is known as the “resident Doctor Diva of the Emerald Coast”. Her artistry elevates her music to spiritual heights through her vocal virtuosity, innovative keyboarding, and an artsy presence.
