On Friday morning at a press conference in St. Petersburg, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida will move into Phase 3 of the Reopening Plan effective immediately.

According to original Phase 3 documents, this will allow restaurants to no longer have restrictions on capacity.

According to Florida Politics, the order “lifts all state-level state level restrictions and preempts local governments’ abilities to close businesses and assess fines on individuals.”

Additionally, under Phase 3, bars, pubs, and nightclubs that derive more than 50% of sales from alcohol should operate at full capacity with limited social distancing protocols.
