Police looking for suspect in attempted burglary at Jimmy’s Pawn Shop

On Aug. 5, 2019, at approximately 5:42 a.m., the Fort Walton Beach Police Department responded to an attempted burglary at Jimmy’s Men Store & Pawn Shop Inc. located at 22 Eglin Parkway SE. 

Officers discovered that an individual attempted to gain entry to the store by shattering a front door to the business.

The suspect, a white male, bald, tall, slender build, wearing shorts and a t- shirt, was observed on surveillance video attempting to gain entry using a brick. The individual was unsuccessful in his attempts and left the area in an unknown direction of travel. 

The case is under investigation and updates will be provided as they become available. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Brandon Chapin at 850-833-9546 or call 911 for an emergency.
