Valentine’s Day dining specials at Crab Trap, Surf Hut and more

Six Saltwater Restaurant Group locations across Okaloosa and Walton counties are offering Valentine’s Day specials Friday, with menus featuring surf and turf, seafood and Mexican fare.

  • Participating restaurants include three locations on The Boardwalk at Okaloosa Island, The Boathouse Landing in Valparaiso, and two Destin establishments.

The Crab Trap

The Crab Trap locations in Fort Walton Beach and Destin are offering fried lobster over Asian slaw with teriyaki glaze for $13.99.

Entrees, which include a complimentary glass of champagne, are priced at $42.99. Options include two grilled 4-ounce tenderloin filet medallions served with confetti rice and vegetable medley, or Parmesan-crusted red snapper topped with bay shrimp and lemon butter sauce served with rice and vegetables.

  • New York-style cheesecake with whipped cream and strawberry puree is available for $8.99.

The Boathouse Landing

The Boathouse Landing in Valparaiso is offering three entree options.

Sauteed shrimp and scallops tossed in rosé sauce with mushrooms, topped with lump crab and toasted baguette, is available for $28.99. Grilled cobia topped with sauteed Gulf shrimp and artichoke Florentine served with rice and vegetables is priced at $30.99. A 16-ounce bone-in ribeye with garlic herb butter, roasted baby red potatoes and vegetables is available for $49.99.

  • A chef’s dessert for two is available for $9.99.

Surf Hut

Surf Hut, at 551 Scenic Gulf Drive in Destin, is offering two entree options for $49.99, each including a strawberry bellini.

The surf and turf features 4 ounces of bacon-wrapped filet topped with hollandaise and six grilled Gulf shrimp, served with sauteed vegetables and red skin mashed potatoes. The surf and surf includes cobia Florentine with lemon beurre blanc and six grilled Gulf shrimp with the same sides.

Rockin’ Tacos

Rockin’ Tacos on The Boardwalk is offering a dinner for two for $48.99.

The meal includes a lobster quesadilla appetizer with blackened lobster, melted cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream, followed by flat-grilled carne asada with red chimichurri and Mexican rice with cilantro cream. Dessert is tres leches cake topped with whipped cream and fresh berries.

  • A strawberry paloma made with tequila, strawberry puree, grapefruit and lime is available for $9.99. A non-alcoholic version is also available.

Floyd’s

Floyd’s on The Boardwalk is offering fried lobster over Asian slaw with teriyaki glaze for $14.99.

Entrees include cedar plank Atlantic salmon with balsamic glaze and Gulf shrimp for $39.99, or a 6-ounce filet with skewered Gulf shrimp for $44.99. Both are served with rice and vegetables.

Key lime pie is available for $8.99.
