Wine World and The Craft Bar announced they will open a new location in Niceville at 1051 John Sims Parkway, next door to the Niceville Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce.
- Wine World, which bills itself as “your go-to for fine wine, spirits, craft beer, and gourmet cheese & foods,” is expected to open by the end of June. The Craft Bar, featuring “Chef-Inspired Tavern Fare,” will follow in late summer.
The announcement was made through a social media post that acknowledged local rumors about the businesses coming to town. “The excitement has been wild and we’re thrilled to finally say it—Wine World + The Craft Bar are opening in NICEVILLE!” the post stated.
Wine World has been serving Northwest Florida since 2000, when it was founded by Chan Cox in Destin. The company operates as an employee-owned ESOP business and currently has locations in Fort Walton Beach, Miramar Beach, Panama City Beach, Watercolor, Destin and Pensacola.
- The company calls itself “Northwest Florida’s premier destination for fine wine, spirits, beer, gourmet cheeses, and unique gifts.” Wine World offers what it calls “an exceptional selection” ranging “from everyday favorites to rare international treasures.”
The Craft Bar is part of the Wine World Restaurant Group and currently operates locations in Destin (including The Original and Harbor locations), Fort Walton Beach, Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach, Panama City Beach and Pensacola.
The Craft Bar operates as a gastropub serving craft beer, handcrafted cocktails and chef-inspired food with a focus on local and regional sources.
“We can’t wait to bring you the best of both worlds,” the company stated. “Niceville, we’re beyond excited to serve you!”
