It’s that time of the school year where everyone is gearing up for Homecoming. There is the Homecoming football game, the dance…and of course, the pep rally.

Even when I attended FWBHS, it was common to see alumni show up to the pep rally and even participate in skits.

But this year, things are different.

According to Fort Walton Beach High School administration, alumni will not be allowed to attend the Pep Rally (9/13/19) due to the large number of students and the fire code regulations.  Currently there are over 1,900 students meaning the school is at full capacity for this pep rally and all pep rally’s.

But fear not, alumni can still attend the game. There will be an area in the stands “sectioned” off for the alumni groups.
