Lane closures set for P.J. Adams Parkway in Crestview this weekend

P.J. Adams Parkway will have alternating lane closures between Crab Apple Avenue and Antioch Road on May 17-18 for drainage pipe installation beneath the roadway.

Drivers in Okaloosa County will face alternating lane closures on P.J. Adams Parkway this weekend as crews install a drainage pipe beneath the roadway.

  • The Florida Department of Transportation announced the closures will occur between Crab Apple Avenue and Antioch Road on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Law enforcement officers and traffic flaggers will be in place to safely direct drivers through the work zone during the construction period.

FDOT officials noted that all activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in case of inclement weather.

Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone, especially at night, and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
