The route begins at First Street and proceeds north on Eglin Parkway to the old K-Mart parking lot. The parade includes approximately 100 entries ranging from non-profits and the military to area schools, bands, civic organizations and area businesses.

Parade entries are divided into five categories and awards will be presented for the following: Best Marching, Best Youth Organization, Best Religious Organization, Best Service and Best Commercial.

Santa will close the parade riding on the Fort Walton Beach fire truck.

The parade is recorded and will be rebroadcast on Facebook, YouTube, Emerald Coast TV and Cox Channel 6 during the month of December.

BONUS: You can give a toy to “Toys for Tots” at the FWB Parade tonight!

ERA American Real Estate will have theirelves collecting new, unwrapped toys along the parade route tonight. All donations will be distributed to local children in need through Toys for Tots!

Sometimes it can be tough to always get to a drop-off location to donate a toy. With this, you can bring the gift with you to the parade!

And word is, they will be driving the Toys for Tots train through the parade!
